Recently released international data reveal importance of COVID-19 vaccines for pregnant women and people
Pregnant women and people who did not get vaccinated for COVID-19 during their pregnancies were at risk of a range of concerning health challenges related to the virus, according to a recently released observational study published in The Lancet.

Data from the U.S. Census Bureau collected in late summer 2022 indicated that more than one-fourth of all Colorado households with children under 5 reported that their child care arrangement was disrupted at some point in the past four weeks because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Capitol Update: The State of the State and Speak Up for Kids

Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, Colorado 4-year-olds can receive at least 15 hours per week of free, voluntary preschool through the state’s new Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado program, administered by the newly created Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC).
Colorado’s four-year graduation rate rose in 2022 – alongside the dropout rate
The on-time high school graduation rate for Colorado students increased to 82.3% among the class of 2022, according to data released last week by the CDE. However, the data also reveal a concerning development – for the first time since 2015, the state's overall dropout rate increased.
