Shawna Mounsey
Shawna Mounsey works as the Chief Development Officer for the Colorado Children’s Campaign’s. In this role she champions a culture of philanthropy to increase engagement, build relationships, and align mission, program, and operation goals with revenue generation. Shawna does this by creating and leading the Children’s Campaign’s annual fund development, guiding donor stewardship, overseeing all fundraising activities including special events, managing grants, and advancing relationships with funders.
Prior to coming to the Children’s Campaign, Shawna worked for other Colorado non-profits including Junior Achievement and Minds Matter Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications, emphasis in Mass Media, from the University of San Diego. She has a Master of Science in Communications from the University of Colorado-Denver.
Shawna is a Denver native and graduate of Cherry Creek High School. When she’s not working, she can be found enjoying all that Colorado has to offer with her husband, Tyler, and their daughter, Emerson.
