We envision a Colorado where all children thrive and for 40 years have utilized data, research, and relationships to unapologetically advocate with policymakers across the political spectrum to break down barriers and improve the lives of kids in Colorado.

2024 Legislative Session
The Colorado Children’s Campaign is the leading voice for kids and their families at the state capitol. Our mission is to ensure every chance for every child. When we work together, we can find systemic solutions to the challenges that prevent kids from reaching their full potential.
Our commitment to kids and families includes:
- Developing and advocating for evidence-based legislation.
- Working with government agencies, partners and communities so that successful bills become effective programs, initiatives and policies.
- Convening spaces that center and amplify the voices of those most impacted by policy issues.
2023 Legislative Session
The Colorado Children’s Campaign serves as the leading voice for kids and their families at the state Capitol and in communities across the state. For almost four decades, we have worked with policymakers across various political perspectives to ensure every chance for every child.
Children’s issues are not partisan, and our work proves we can find systemic solutions when we work together. Our commitment to kids and families includes developing and advocating for legislation throughout the 2023 legislative session. It also involves sustained work with government agencies, partners, and communities to ensure that successful bills become departments, programs, initiatives, and policies that respond to the needs of Colorado kids and families.
2022 Legislative Session
The Colorado Children’s Campaign serves as the leading voice for kids at the state Capitol and in communities across Colorado. In our over 35-year history, we have worked with policymakers from every corner of the state and every political perspective to improve the well-being of Colorado kids. Children’s issues aren’t partisan, and our successes have proven that we can develop innovative solutions when we work together.
In the 2022 legislative session, legislators and advocates worked to advance policy solutions and restructure systems that the pandemic has further exposed as inequitable and inaccessible. As Colorado families navigate this recovery, many of our priority bills have focused on best facilitating that recovery to their benefit – with bipartisan support along the way. In the midst of these successes, we continue to recognize the work that still remains in realizing every chance for every child in Colorado. Below are some of the bills we championed and supported in the 2022 legislative session.
2021 Legislative Session

In our over 35-year history, we’ve worked with policymakers from every corner of the state and every political perspective to improve the well-being of Colorado kids. Children’s issues aren’t partisan, and we’ve proven that we can develop innovative solutions when we work together.
In the 2021 legislative session, legislators and advocates worked to advance policy solutions to respond to the pandemic and restructure systems to benefit all Coloradans. In fact, most of the funding that was cut from our state budget last year has been restored, and many of our priority bills have passed with bipartisan support. In the midst of these successes, we continue to recognize the work that still remains in realizing every chance for every child in Colorado. In 2020, legislators and advocates faced a massive public health crisis and economic freefall in the middle of the regular legislative session. Many important bills that would have advanced the well-being of Colorado children and families were lost. However, legislators returned to the Capitol to make incredibly difficult decisions to help families respond to, and recover from, the pandemic. Here are the results that we championed and supported.

La Colorado Childrdren’s Campaign sirve como la voz principal para los niños en el Capitolio estatal y en las comunidades de todo Colorado. En nuestra historia de 31 años, hemos trabajado con legisladores de todos los rincones del estado y todas las perspectivas políticas para mejorar el bienestar de los niños de Colorado.
