Meghan McCann
For more than a decade, Meghan has provided public policy research and support to state-level policymakers across the country. In six years with the National Conference of State Legislatures, three and a half years with Education Commission of the States and two years with the Forum for Youth Investment, Meghan has worked on a myriad of issues, including P-20 education policy, student health and wellness, human services, two-generation approaches, child support and family law and youth development.
In her work at The Campaign, Meghan finds deep purpose. Helping adults make better decisions so kids can be kids is the “why” behind Meghan’s career in state policy supporting children, youth and families. Meghan is excited to convene Colorado’s early childhood ecosystem and bring issues affecting young children to the Capitol.
Meghan earned her B.A. from Colorado State University and a J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law. She is a licensed attorney in the state of Colorado, where she lives with her 4-year-old dog, Pivo.
