Jackie Zubrzycki
Jackie Zubrzycki is the Vice President of Communications at the Colorado Children’s Campaign. She leads strategic communications and media engagement to advance the organization’s mission and vision. Her expertise includes translating complex policy content into clear language and compelling messages; supporting the development and launch of publications and digital communications; coaching policy experts on writing and communications best practices; and building impactful relationships with journalists.
Prior to this role, Jackie served as Communications Manager at the Colorado Health Institute, where she developed and led communications for research and consulting projects aimed at improving health and health policy. Jackie began her career as an educator and journalist. She reported on K-12 education for Education Week and Chalkbeat, and her work has appeared in The Atlantic, Pacific Standard, and other national publications. She also taught in K-12 schools, gave private music lessons, and worked in the education department of the National Audubon Society.
Jackie has received fellowships from the Journalism and Women Symposium and The Communications Network. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Jackie holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Yale University.
