Shawna Mounsey
Shawna is the Chief Development Officer at the Colorado Children’s Campaign. Shawna champions a culture of philanthropy to increase engagement, build relationships, and align mission, program, and operation goals with revenue generation.
She leads the creation of The Campaign’s annual fund development, guiding donor stewardship, overseeing all fundraising activities including special events, managing grants, and advancing relationships with funders. In addition, Shawna oversees The Campaign’s marketing and communications ensuring that all messages reinforce the desire to make Colorado the best place to be a kid and raise a kid. Prior to coming to the Colorado Children’s Campaign, Shawna worked for other Colorado nonprofits including Junior Achievement and Minds Matter Colorado.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of San Diego and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Colorado-Denver.
