Leah Caputo

Leah Caputo is an events, programming, and policy professional having entered the space just out of college, with her career being in the nonprofit sector. Her current role is Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement with the Colorado Children’s Campaign. Her work is building a community of dedicated advocates focused on making Colorado a better place for children and families. She has spent her 14 years of industry experience building and cultivating communities to support underrepresented and underserved communities. Prior to this role, Leah has worked in the events and nonprofit space focused on education, healthcare, and with the Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Leah is a passionate leader with a mission to make as many community and networking connections.

In her spare time, Leah takes full advantage of all the things Colorado has to offer. She is an avid hiker, skier, and supporter of all Colorado sporting teams! The Denver Public Library, Colorado Public Radio, and our state parks are some of Leah’s favorite things. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communications Studies from the University of Iowa. She also has participated in the Colorado Capitol Conference (2023), volunteers for Junior Achievement, The Lindsey Vohn Foundation (through Children’s Hospital of Colorado), and the Denver Public Library Foundation. Most recently, she participated in the Colorado Inclusive Economy program to continue to make Colorado the number one place for employees to grow.
