We are the Colorado Children’s Campaign. Since 1985, our team has worked tirelessly so that every child in Colorado has what they need to thrive.
Over the years, our research, policy leadership, and advocacy have helped Colorado create stronger systems to support children’s health, education, and well-being.
OUR HISTORY
Colorado has grown and changed in the last 40 years. But some things don’t change. Children need and deserve a great education. Quality health care. Support for their development in early childhood. A safe place to live and healthy food to eat.
The Campaign has built a legacy of powerful, evidence-based policies and services to improve kids’ lives. The Campaign’s advocacy has helped Colorado create strong systems that support children’s health, education, and well-being from early childhood on.
Equity Statement
At the Colorado Children’s Campaign, our goal is to make Colorado the best place to be a kid and raise a kid. Equity is not only a core value, it drives how we work. As the voice for every kid in Colorado, we carry their experiences and hopes into the rooms where decisions are made. We know that systemic racism, economic injustice, and ableism create barriers for many children and families. Guided by our mission, we work to change these systems through community-informed, data-driven policy to create a Colorado where belonging and opportunity are realities for every child and family.
