Madi Ashour
Madi serves as the Campaign’s Director of K-12 Education Policy. In this role, she leads the Campaign’s K-12 education portfolio, manages the School Climate Coalition, maintains relationships with key stakeholders and Colorado youth, and coordinates policy advocacy strategies. Before coming to the Children’s Campaign, Madi served as the legislative director in seven western states for the Foundation for Excellence in Education, as a government affairs associate with Education Commission of the States, and as a policy specialist with the National Conference of State Legislatures. Madi also serves as a companion volunteer at Judi’s House, a free grief counseling center for families based in Aurora. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Denver.
